Hamster Kombat has launched Hamster Network, the first gaming-focused Layer-2 blockchain on TON, which provides a scalable and low-cost infrastructure. The network will allow developers to offer a fully Web3-enabled experience with minimal transaction costs, using a Layer-2 solution built on TON.

According to a recent X announcement, Hamster Network runs on the Ton Virtual Machine, with smart contracts fully compatible with TON, allowing developers to transfer their dApps easily. Moreover, all proof records from Hamster Network are posted to TON’s L1, ensuring security and decentralization.

Hamster Kombat Unveils Its L2 Blockchain

The launch of Hamster Network follows previous reports suggesting plans for an exclusive L2 blockchain on TON. Both the crypto and gaming communities have welcomed the project with excitement.

Hamster Kombat also invites community involvement in stress-testing the network through its initiative, Hamster Boost. Users can participate in blockchain testing quests and earn bounties and rewards for their contributions, helping to strengthen the network before its wider adoption.

The latest Hamster Network launch coincides with Telegram’s increased involvement in the TON ecosystem. Recently, Telegram confirmed TON as its exclusive crypto infrastructure provider, boosting the network’s credibility and potential for wider adoption.

With nearly one billion users and seamless Web3 mini-app integrations, Telegram’s influence, combined with Hamster Network’s addition to the TON ecosystem, positions it to become a leading force in blockchain gaming and decentralized applications.

With fast transactions, minimal fees, and compatibility with TON’s infrastructure, Hamster Network is poised to pioneer Web3 gaming. The Hamster Kombat team noted that the latest L2 infrastructure will significantly improve user experience by providing more accessible and engaging gaming options.

Telegram’s increasing support for TON boosts Hamster Network’s adoption, making it a strong contender in Web3 gaming. By providing a seamless and cost-effective platform for decentralized gaming, the Hamster Network positions itself as a key player in the Web3 gaming space.

Furthermore, the network also launches with essential infrastructure, including a wallet, a main bridge, and a dedicated DEX. According to the network, several developers are already creating innovative experiences for the network and are excited to share more soon.

Will HMSTR Surge?

Despite the news, the Hamster Kombat token showed little change. As of the time of writing, HMSTR is trading at $0.001721, up just 4.4% in the last 24 hours. HMSTR has experienced a remarkable increase in the last 7 days, even amid crypto market turbulence.

While the launch of Hamster Kombat’s L2 blockchain on TON is a significant development that could influence the HMSTR token’s price, the actual impact will depend on various factors, including market conditions, user adoption, and the successful implementation of the L2 solution.

Meanwhile, L2 solutions are gaining widespread popularity on various blockchain platforms, with projects like Kraken’s INK protocol and Shiba Inu’s Shibarium at the forefront. These solutions improve network efficiency and attract decentralized applications (DApps) and developers.

Hamster Kombat has consistently involved its community during the development process. Recently, a community vote took place, and the majority supported the proposal to build the Hamster L2 blockchain on the TON platform, showing a collective agreement on the direction of the project.
