The Solana Saga phone, which inherently supports solely the Solana network, now supports the layer-1 Sui blockchain. Although the integration has yet to be officially rolled out, a developer named Ronan on X revealed that it is possible.
He explained how he executed the integration and said he would share the codes so that other Solana Saga users could try out the feature.

How It Was Done
Ronan executed the integration by leveraging the Saga Seed Vault, an embedded tech engineered to protect users’ private keys and seed phrases. He also interacted with several features in the Saga device, such as the Solana “fakewallet” repository and the Solana Mobile SDK Java documentation.
The Sui and Solana networks support ED25519 signatures. The developer also harnessed this similarity to facilitate the integration.
Ronan, who has shown interest in SUI and SOL through tweets, assured the public that he would soon publish the app on the Solana dApp store and share the codes for other developers to check.
This action has captured the attention of several crypto community members on X. Even SagaDAO, a decentralized organization for Solana Saga phone users, expressed interest in Ronan’s move to take Solana Mobile’s Saga phone to the Sui mainnet.
Solana Saga Grows
Since its inception in June 2022, the Saga phone has had its features “tightly integrated” with the Solana mainnet. Its creators’ goal was to bring the Android device to millions of users globally, making it easy to interact with Web3.
Although the Saga device was not widely accepted from the onset, it began gaining attention after the popular memecoin BONK was airdropped into the Saga phones of those who bought them.
The Solana Saga Chapter 2 launched earlier this year. Fast-forward to early May and the device’s preorder token holders soared above 132,000, significantly higher than those who acquired the phone’s first edition.
