MyShell (SHELL) Hits New All-Time High After Binance Listing News

Binance has added SHELL to its HODLer Airdrops projects, with plans to airdrop 5% of the token’s maximum supply to eligible users between now and the next six months.

SHELL, the native cryptocurrency of the decentralized artificial intelligence (AI) consumer layer MyShell, has surged to a new all-time high (ATH) following news of a listing by the world’s largest crypto exchange, Binance.

According to data from CoinMarketCap, SHELL hit the new ATH of $0.68 within ten minutes after Binance made the announcement. The token has surged over 46% in the past 24 hours, with its market cap climbing to $185.11 million. At the time of writing, it was trading around $0.67, still hovering around its ATH range.

What is MyShell?

MyShell connects users, AI agent creators, and open-source AI researchers via its consumer layer. The protocol focuses on democratizing access to AI by enabling anyone to create, share, and monetize their AI agents.

Additionally, the project bridges AI and blockchain through agentic frameworks, an AI creator community, and open-source models while offering shared ownership to users alongside AI-powered entertainment and utility.

The MyShell team launched the project this month and concluded its token generation and distribution event on February 13. SHELL was listed on several trading platforms at $0.28; having recorded an ATH of $0.68, the asset has rallied over 142% since it went live.

Besides its AI-focused offerings, Binance has added MyShell as the tenth project on its HODLer Airdrops list, with plans to list the coin on February 27 at 13:00 UTC. The coin will have trading pairs with bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Binance Coin (BNB), First Digital USD (FDUSD), and Try.Finance (TRY). The crypto exchange also said it will add the ”seed” tag to SHELL upon listing.

Binance’s HODLer Airdrops

Binance HODLer Airdrops rewards BNB holders with token airdrops. These rewards are based on historical snapshots of BNB balances.

“By subscribing BNB to Simple Earn, users are automatically eligible for HODLer Airdrops (as well as Launchpool and Megadrop rewards). By subscribing BNB to On-Chain Yields, users are automatically eligible for HODLer Airdrops and Launchpool rewards. Unlike other earning methods that require ongoing actions, HODLer Airdrops rewards users retroactively, offering a simple way to earn additional tokens,” Binance explained.

Users who want to benefit from the program have to subscribe their BNB holdings to Simple Earn and/or On-Chain Yield products. Doing this automatically qualifies them for token rewards. Binance randomly takes snapshots of user balances to get their hourly average balances and calculate their rewards for each airdrop.

For MyShell, eligible users are those who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn and/or On-Chain Yields from February 14 to 18. Binance says it will distribute the new tokens to users’ spot accounts at least an hour before trading starts.

SHELL has a maximum supply of one billion tokens but a circulating supply of 270 million. 2.5% of the maximum supply, accounting for 25 million SHELL, will be used for HODLer Airdrops token rewards, while another 2.5% will be airdropped to users six months after the token’s spot listing on Binance.

Meanwhile, MyShell has been securing partnerships with several crypto entities since their launch a few weeks ago. The project unveiled an alliance with the Web3-native AI gaming platform Infinity Ground to take AI-driven entertainment to the next level. Through the alliance, AI agents on MyShell will play, strategize, evolve, and compete with human players in a battle of wits.
