MarsCoin (MARSCOIN) Rockets Over 90% as Binance Derivatives Listing Ignites Rally

The listing helped place the token close to its 0.087 all-time high, while remaining above its August 21 record low of $0.02333.

Rocket about to launch into space

MarsCoin (MARSCOIN) experienced a sharp rally after Binance expanded access to the BNB Chain-based token through its derivatives market today. The move quickly drew traders toward the asset, pushing its price to levels that placed it among the market’s strongest performers.

The rapid advance, however, leaves traders speculating whether stronger market participation can support MARSCOIN after the initial excitement surrounding Binance’s announcement fades.

MARSCOIN Secures Binance Listing

Binance Futures launched the MARSCOINUSDT perpetual contract in the early hours of September 1, giving traders direct leveraged exposure. The contract supports a maximum leverage of 20x, uses USDT as settlement, and remains available for trading around-the-clock globally.

Binance has also enabled Multi-Assets Mode, allowing eligible traders to use supported cryptocurrencies as collateral when managing their derivatives positions. The contract has a minimum trade size of one MARSCOIN and a minimum notional value of five USDT per position. The funding rate is capped at plus or minus 2%, with funding settlements occurring every four hours under current parameters.

Binance stated that Futures Copy Trading would become available within 24 hours, potentially widening participation among less experienced derivatives traders. The exchange, however, cautioned that leverage, funding rates, tick sizes, and margin requirements may change based on prevailing market conditions and risks.

MARSCOIN Near Record High After Rally

The listing immediately increased market attention, with MARSCOIN rising more than 90%. As of this writing, CoinGecko data shows MARSCOIN trading around $0.0852. Its trading volume is close to $36.93 million, boosting market capitalization to approximately $73.07 million. The latest development placed the token close to its $0.087 all-time high, while remaining substantially above its August 21 record low of $0.02333.

Notably, exchange listings have often played an important role in improving accessibility, liquidity, visibility, and price discovery, potentially allowing smaller assets to reach significantly broader pools of traders. PIEVERSE, a Web3 payments and compliance infrastructure, recently saw a similar rally, up 80%, following Upbit’s listing.

On the other hand, delistings can reverse those benefits. ThunderCore’s TT token recently faced that contrasting dynamic. The token fell more than 50% after two major South Korean exchanges decided to end trading support for the asset. The broader market has repeatedly demonstrated this pattern.
